Contemporary dance is a versatile and expressive dance form that combines dynamic movement and creativity. The form develops body control, mobility and spatial awareness, and offers the opportunity for bold self-expression.

Classes practice various contemporary dance techniques through movement combinations and floor work. Flowing movement, weight changes and improvisation are key elements that help students learn to use their bodies in a variety of ways. Classes include dynamic movement sequences that develop coordination and recognition of different movement qualities. Creative exercises and improvisation encourage students to find their own movement language and deepen their dance expression.
